Alex Larsson is a historian, running for State Representative for the 66th district because he believes that he can provide a fresh and fair perspective for Connecticut.
Alex grew up in New Milford and Woodbury Connecticut with his family. He spent over six years volunteering as a soccer coach for various youth teams across the state. After receiving his M.A. in history from Western Connecticut State University, Alex continued to work closely in the admissions and the registrar offices. He currently serves on the Democratic Town Committee in Litchfield, the Park and Recreation Commission and the Conservation Commission in Litchfield.
When Alex isn’t working with his non-profit, Connecticut Crossroads Project, he volunteers for a service dog program that provides guide dogs for people with vision loss and service dogs for veterans and children with autism.
Alex has been driven to become more involved in politics to serve those who feel they are not being properly represented. He believes he can serve the people of Connecticut in creating more prosperous and thriving opportunities for children, families and individuals of the state.
